Clever blog title
My fellow band members are being failures as far as posting to the blog is concerned. FOL's!
So we had some more gigs last weekend, on Canada day. The first one was a return to Unionville main st., playing at the end near Crosby arena, a venue we have played numerous times. It was a pretty successful gig; we attracted lots of passerbys, sold quite a few cd's, and played for several wedding parties as they took pictures nearby (why would people chooose Canada Day Unionville main st. for the the location of their post-wedding photo session??). We also sounded ourselves for the first time in a while which went very well. We can do it! Jimbob Daniels also whipped out his newly purchased distortion pedal and used it on a song or two, which was a new effect and went over well.
After the gig we settled down for a couple hours (I'll give you three guesses where we went after we ate....that's right, Anuroop's house. Once again, he has some amazing ability to get people to go there) and once evening hit, headed over to Milne Park off McCowan for the second gig. We did this gig last year and were pretty unimpressed with the organization of the event, but we decided to do it again this year anyway, promised that the organization would be better. It wasn't. In fact, it was worse this year. However, besides everything being late, and us not getting to play when we were supposed to, it ended up being a really fun gig for one reason only - all the people who came out to see us. When we were a little bummed out, the turnout by our fans inspired us to play a kickin show anyway, and we did! You guys are awesome once again, and thanks for standing and getting into Drink Up Boy when I asked you to, that was awesome!
La-Nai couldn't do the evening gig, so we did it as the old-school foursome, which went pretty well. Another thing that went well was Jim and Roop's new and improved Ice Jam intro, which - finally - showcases Jim and lets him break it down a bit on his own which was awesome, and he got some nice response from the fans as well.
Parti Gras at the Distillery District is a week tomorrow. Hope to see you there!
Seacrest out.

Yeah i cant believe the organization. If one thing, the amateur music industry really needs to straighten up their act. I mean come on, when you're half an hour to an hour late... somethings up... and someone's being naive about time.
Oh Lord, i guess im taking a short break from that. But i'll be back muahahahahahahahaha

hey band,
I'm Marge, and I saw some of your gigs at the distillery last last week. There was this song you guys played that I wanted to hear again... and again...and anyway, I asked your 'manager' what song that was, and she said that it was not one originally written by you. Then, she told me what was the name of the artist who did write it, but I forgot. SO, I wanted to ask for your help ...? The lirics, which might be of some use in this case, went something like 'celebrate, celebrate....' and the overall pace of the song was really quick/energetic.
:thnx in advance:

Hi Marge,
The song you're referring to is most definitely 'Two Step' by Dave Matthews Band. It is off the CD 'Crash' which is amazing, and I suggest it.
Thanks for checking out the website!
