There are a boatload of gigs coming up. I'm pretty thrilled about that. Next weekend we're in Barrie, and many times when we play event type gigs outside of markham we generate alot of attention. I'm especially excited for gigs like these, like Pardi Gras and the festival gigs that this year we have a CD we're all happy with, so people who take us home won't be dissiapointed (or are at least less likely to be dissiapointed).
The Tangerine gig on the friday at the end of the month and the Smiling Buddha on June 2nd are coming up fast. I really hope we can get people out to these - the prior smiling buddhas and Tangerine gig were really good because we had great audiences. I hope we can keep this up even though its summer.
I start my summer job tomorrow, at the Markham Museum (where I worked two summers ago). I'm a little bit nervous, because I pretty clear on some of the things I'm doing, and I know alot of my job has to do with planning the summer camp and then in July and August being a councillor. I'm worried that there are lots of other things that my job will entail that I don't know about, and I am therefore worried that I'll wind up looking like an idiot.
My rational side knows it will be fine though.
This is where steve would say 'seacrest out'.
I, however, will not.
