I'm going to have to remember to post my name at the bottom of these posts, otherwise it will say 'posted by jimsmithband' as if we are one gelatinous entity. Which we are, in a way, I guess. Hahaha...

I guess until anyone visits this site, anything I write is more or less irrelevant but here's a JSB update in the event that someone checks this out:

- This week we're hitting up about 8 clubs downtown - delivering CDs and trying to drum up some gigs.
- We have been approached to perform at a UofT formal event, so pending some beaurocratic nonsense that should turn out to be a kickin' good time.
- Steve, despite his doctors recommendation, has refused ear surgery yet again. The doctors believe that they are beginning to grow to critical size, eventually suffocating steve's head. However, Steve appreciates how much joy they bring into everyone's lives, so he's willing to take this kind of risk.

New blog?....how about new website!

Hey folks,
Steve here. Am I aware that this blog was created hours ago? Yes... Do I know that no one will read this anytime soon? Yes... But I've got my ears here to control the stress, so I'll be ok.

The new website will be up VERY shortly. That's right, finally there will be proof to the world that La-Nai is in fact a member of the band! Everyone check it out; it's gonna be sweet, says web designer Roopus Brownus Maximus.

Hey! So you decided to stop by! Well, this, like the awe-inspiringly creative title suggests, is the Jim Smith Band blog. Here, you can read all about what goes on in the Jim Smith Band. Band members will write posts, random utterances, threats on eachother's lives, and other little tidbits you may find amusing, frightening, or just....weird.
